GEO ESCOBAR
ABOUT
get to know me
As a young girl, I was obsessed with making Barbie movies. I'd gather my family's phones and use them as lighting, music, and sound effects. My love for film and storytelling has always been a part of me, but I never fully tapped into it until I entered high school.
A video production program at FVHS, called Baron Broadcast News, taught me the basics of filmmaking and storytelling while providing me a safe space to grow as a storyteller. Today, I'm an award winning Director with a B.F.A. in Film Production Directing, and a minor in Entrepreneurship, from Chapman University.
My favorite film genres are slice-of-life, romance, and dramatic comedies. I'm passionate about stories inspired by real life and hope to move and inspire people with my work. Look out for my upcoming film 'Chrys Alis!'
